ACPT's proven strategy is to make a mark with not just a housing development, but a master planned community. Starting from undeveloped land, master planning combines residential, recreational and commercial areas into one pleasing, productive environment. Varied housing types, recreation facilities, employment centers, schools and shopping all offer residents in an ACPT community a comfortable and inviting way of life.

ACPT's first planned community project was El Senorial, an attractive San Juan, Puerto Rico suburb.  Built on 400 acres, El Senorial is a desirable mix of detached homes, low and high-rise condominiums, commercial centers, rental housing and recreational facilities.

San Francisco's Gateway at Albany, ACPT's "vertical village," is 482 condominiums in seven high-rise buildings. The total living environment, incorporating on-site tennis, swimming, shopping and open plazas, overlooks San Francisco Bay.

St. Charles, Maryland, ACPT's most ambitious planned community was started in the late 60's.  Twenty miles from Washington D.C., ACPT is transforming 9,100 acres of rural land into a mix of residential, recreational, commercial, industrial and educational land uses. In 1998, ACPT began development of Fairway Village, the third of the five planned villages of St. Charles. When completed in 2035, St. Charles will have a population of 65,000 people.

ACPT's most recent planned community is the 430 acre Parque Escorial.  Located in a prime location six miles from the Hato Rey business district of San Juan, this community will contain a 356,000 square foot retail center, a 800,000 square foot office park and 2,700 housing units. Parque Escorial is currently 50% complete with a projected buildout in 2005.
